Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Verdant Foliage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenny Cohen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cohen shoots in but no luck this time.

Cohen feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Cohen postures up in Foliage's guard and throws a big left but Foliage blocks it.
Foliage keeping moving, preventing Cohen from controlling successfully.

Cohen wants to control the pace but Foliage is squirming around nicely.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Cohen cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Foliage can't escape the position.
Foliage knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cohen on the ground.

Cohen looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Cohen has hold of Foliage's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Foliage manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Foliage is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cohen loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Foliage scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Cohen land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Cohen stands and salutes the crowd.
