Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nick Markakis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diago Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanchez is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Coming Home. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Diago Sanchez was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Markakis shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Sanchez closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Markakis is fighting off a takedown attempt but Sanchez is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Markakis to the mat. Markakis regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Diago Sanchez is the new featherweight champion!
Diago Sanchez decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.
