Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Yoon Chung Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Markus Hessburg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yoon Chung Kim!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Markus Hessburg!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Taro Takaoka and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kim gets the takedown into side control.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Kim swings around for an armbar but Hessburg sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Kim's guard.
Hessburg seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Kim wants to clinch up but Hessburg keeps it at a distance.

Hessburg pushes Kim off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Kim is breathing heavily.

Hessburg shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Kim is trying to defend but Hessburg finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Hessburg is taking a breather. Kim says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Kim wants to improve his position but Hessburg is controlling well.

Kim tries to roll over but Hessburg keeps him under control.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kim is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Hessburg scores with a couple of nice shots.
Well, if Hessburg is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Hessburg's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Hessburg is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hessburg connects with a nice short shot to Kim's temple.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Let's hope that Hessburg has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hessburg accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Kim throws a right hand that Hessburg ducks under and follows up with a left that Hessburg also avoids with ease.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hessburg can do anything to dispel that myth.

Kim is fighting to break Hessburg's control of his arms but Hessburg is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Hessburg is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Hessburg has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Hessburg cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Kim takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Kim has left one of his arms exposed and Hessburg doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Kim screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
