Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Benson Henson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bekir Yentar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bekir Yentar will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Henson darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Yentar is trying to stand back up but Henson is controlling him

Yentar wants to hold on but Henson pushes him away.

Yentar wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Henson is riding his opponent, not letting Yentar buck him off.
Yentar is trapped and Henson is scoring with shots to the head and body.

Henson doesn't have the hooks in and Yentar manages to turn into his guard.

Yentar is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Benson Henson.

Yentar tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Henson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Yentar throws a push kick but Henson slaps the foot to one side.
Horrible takedown by Yentar or perhaps it was just good defense by Henson which made him look bad.

Henson forces Yentar back against the ropes and clinches.

Henson is trying to trip Yentar. He has hold of a leg but Yentar is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Henson persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Henson's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Henson is pushing down on Yentar's leg trying to pass to half guard. Yentar is fighting to maintain full guard but Henson has managed to sneak the leg through.

Henson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Henson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Henson stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Yentar closes this distance looking for a takedown but Henson circles away.

Yentar gets tackled into the ropes by Henson. Henson maintains the clinch.
Yentar is looking to control Henson's arms but Henson gets an underhook and turns him. Now Yentar has his back to the ropes.

Henson jumps guard and drags Yentar to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Henson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Yentar goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Henson is on top in guard.

Bekir Yentar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Henson closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Yentar did well to prevent Henson getting side control.

Yentar is working an open guard so Henson takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Henson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Yentar looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Henson is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Yentar will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Henson is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Yentar is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Henson thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Henson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
