The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hermias's jab looks to have found its range, popping Arian under the eye.
Good standup being displayed there by Hermias as he connects with a hook.
Hermias throws a right and a left that Arian avoids nicely.
Arian lands a two punch combo.
Hermias closes this distance looking for a takedown but Arian circles away.
Arian stuffs the takedown.
The fighters circle momentarily. Hermias darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Hermias slips under a jab.
Hermias uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Arian.
Arian throws a shot from downtown. Hermias moves away and avoids it.
Arian misses with a wild combination.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Arian.
Hermias closes the distance and clinches up with Arian, looking for a takedown. Hermias pushes Arian against the ropes but Arian circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Sekur Arian has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrea Hermias.
Hermias scores with a body shot.
Arian lands the left hand.
Arian shoots for a takedown but Hermias saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Hermias darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hermias shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Arian pinned against the ropes. Arian gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Arian feints and as Hermias raises his hands in defense, Arian changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Arian trying to control the position from guard on top but Hermias is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Hermias looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Hermias is pulling down on Arian's head. It's preventing any offense from Arian, at least for the moment.

Hermias pushes a forearm under Arian's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Arian is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
