Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tucker Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alaric Visigoth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thomas kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Get Off On The Pain - Gary Allan . Visigoth has chosen THUNDERSTRUCK as his entrance music. Alaric Visigoth told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alaric Visigoth!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Chad Campbell and Anthony Taglia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Thomas closes the distance and clinches.
Thomas is looking to control Visigoth's arms but Visigoth gets an underhook and turns him. Now Thomas has his back to the cage.
Visigoth blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Thomas stops a takedown attempt from Visigoth.
Thomas swings wildly with an uppercut but Visigoth uses good head movement to avoid it.
Visigoth blocking some punches.
Visigoth is looking to take this one to the mat.
Visigoth is working for takedown but Thomas is calmly controlling the position for now.
Tucker Thomas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alaric Visigoth.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

Thomas is pressed up against the cage. Visigoth has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Thomas down to the mat. Thomas avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Thomas wants to slow Visigoth down by chopping away at his legs.
Thomas throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Thomas ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Visigoth moves away.
Thomas throws out a loose jab but Visigoth uses good head movement to avoid it.
Visigoth shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Thomas pinned against the cage. Thomas gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Visigoth shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Visigoth was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Thomas tries to lock up and control but Visigoth gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Thomas takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Thomas tries to hold on but Visigoth postures up.
Thomas is in all sorts of trouble here.
Visigoth scoring with strikes but Thomas is staying in there.
Visigoth landing strikes from the mount and Thomas is in trouble!
Visigoth has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Thomas sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Thomas is doing well to control the position and prevent Visigoth from advancing to side control.
Thomas is looking to improve his position.
Visigoth seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Visigoth is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Thomas is hurt! He's hurt bad - Visigoth fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Thomas from any more punishment! Congratulations to Visigoth! Great finish!
