The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jiglov throws a series of punches but Gazafi avoids them all with ease.
Gazafi shoots in for a takedown but Jiglov shows good takedown defense.
Gazafi misses with a straight right.

Jiglov clinches up with Gazafi and pushes him back against the cage.
Jiglov on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Gazafi.
Gazafi drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Jiglov gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Jiglov breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Jiglov tries a head kick but it misses.
Gazafi misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Gazafi shoots in for a double leg but Jiglov sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Jiglov tries to bum rush Gazafi with a series of wild strikes but Gazafi uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Jiglov tries to land a leg kick but Gazafi saw it coming and moves away.

Jiglov darts in and clinches Gazafi up against the cage.
Gazafi throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Jiglov blocks it with crossed arms.
Gazafi goes for a takedown attempt but Jiglov pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Jiglov looks to land a combination but Gazafi avoids it well.
Gazafi tries to clinch but Jiglov is having none of it.
Jiglov moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

It looks like Martaza Gazafi has been cut.

Jiglov instigates a clinch.
Gazafi is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Jiglov is defending well for now.
Jiglov lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Gazafi throws a shot from downtown. Jiglov moves away and avoids it.

Jiglov bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Jiglov shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Gazafi missing with a left hand there. Jiglov was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Gazafi throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jiglov sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Gazafi connects with a right hand. Jiglov shakes it off.

and Jiglov counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Jiglov is pawing at Gazafi, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Gazafi's nose. Gazafi is badly hurt! Jiglov pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Gazafi tries desperately to hold on but Jiglov is relentless in his assault! As Gazafi receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Jiglov away and this one is in the books!
