Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Giovanni Batista (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thiago Jitsku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Thiago Cunha and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Batista dodges the punch combination from Jitsku.
Batista avoids a kick to the body.
Jitsku lands a nice hook to Batista's body. Batista takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Jitsku throws a hook to the side of Batista's head but Batista sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Batista decides to stand back up. Batista steps back and let's Jitsku get back to his feet.

Batista takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Batista takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Batista stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Batista wants it to stay on the feet.

Batista with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Jitsku to score with a decent uppercut.

Jitsku throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Batista tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Jitsku is in Batista's guard.
