Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Relva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Pinto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Antonio Relva has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Pinto. No joy for Relva on that attempt.
Relva tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Pinto lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Relva tries for a takedown but Pinto circles away easily
and Pinto counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Relva moves in looking to clinch but Pinto pushes him off.
Pinto lands with a hook. Relva tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Pinto lands a big shot that drops Relva! Can he finish him?

Relva is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Pinto is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Oh Relva is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pinto stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Relva swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Relva seems to have got his legs back now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Relva is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Relva keeping moving, preventing Pinto from controlling successfully.

Pinto decides to stand back up.
Relva shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Pinto cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Antonio Relva. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Relva is breathing heavily.
Pinto tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Pinto lands with a cross.
Pinto bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Relva's head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pinto lands a nice shot to the body.
Pinto wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Pinto moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Relva with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Pinto to score with a decent uppercut.
Pinto feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Relva crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
