Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Lanzoni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cesar Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva has chosen It's My Life as his entrance music. Kevin Lanzoni could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Cesar Silva's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kevin Lanzoni!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Cesar Silva!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Daniel Cesar and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lanzoni tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Lanzoni doesn't manage to clinch there - Silva circles away.
Silva swats away the attempt to clinch by Lanzoni.
Lanzoni drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Silva takes the fight into the clinch.
Silva gets underhooks to prevent Lanzoni's takedown attempt.
Lanzoni jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Silva walks away with a smile on his face. Lanzoni gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Lanzoni darts in trying to clinch
and Silva counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Kevin Lanzoni seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lanzoni changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Silva tries to avoid it but Lanzoni manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Silva to the ground. Silva escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kevin Lanzoni. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A telegraphed right hand from Silva misses the target.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Silva throws a shot from downtown. Lanzoni moves away and avoids it.
Lanzoni looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Silva is fending him off so far but Lanzoni persists. Nope, Silva circles away and we're back to standing.
Lanzoni moves out of range of the strikes.
Silva pushes Lanzoni up against the cage in a clinch.
Silva is trying to push Lanzoni away but Lanzoni has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Lanzoni is trying to break free.
Silva wants to get back to striking at distance but Lanzoni won't allow it.
Silva looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Lanzoni has Silva pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Silva manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Lanzoni tries for a takedown but Silva manages to get underhooks.
Lanzoni really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lanzoni wants a takedown but no success here.
Lanzoni manages to break the clinch.
Silva connects with a single shot there.
Silva's jab looks to have found its range, popping Lanzoni under the eye.
Lanzoni misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Silva's corner calls for a 1-2. Silva obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Lanzoni is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Silva thuds his right hand into Lanzoni's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Oh Lanzoni is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Silva drops Lanzoni with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Lanzoni! Silva dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cesar Silva!
A pretty intense looking Cesar Silva took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
