PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Little (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and rich richerdson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Little comes into the arena with Hells bells blaring out of the sound system. richerdson has chosen freak on leash as his entrance music. Little has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
richerdson throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Little's head.

It looks like Brandon Little has been cut.
Little is breathing heavily.
richerdson fails to land the takedown.
Little shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and richerdson counters with a single leg into guard. Little didn't expect that.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
richerdson wants to control from the top but Little keeps moving.
richerdson trying to stand up but can't free himself from Little's guard.
Little keeping moving, preventing richerdson from controlling successfully.
richerdson passes easily into side control. Nice work.

richerdson stands up.
Little doesn't succeed with the takedown
and richerdson counters with a one-two to the body.

Little shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in richerdson's guard.
Little pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. richerdson is keeping the position for now.

Little drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Little jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

richerdson is looking to stand up but Little isn't so interested in that idea.

richerdson is looking to sinch up a triangle. Little throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to richerdson's body to avoid the submission. richerdson has instead reached around Little's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! richerdson arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
