The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takara tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Corleone was well out of range. Poor timing from Takara.

Takara throws a lazy right hand but Corleone sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Takara scores with a jab. Corleone acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Takara throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Corleone on the side of the head.
Takara looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Good exchange - Takara coming out on top.
Corleone gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Corleone takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Takara fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Corleone manages to avoid it.
Corleone uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Takara.

Corleone dives in and grabs Takara's left leg, looking for a takedown. Takara pushes down on Corleone's head and hops out.

Takara throws a front kick aimed at Corleone's knee but Corleone avoids it well.

Corleone is looking to clinch but Takara is avoiding it.
Corleone will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Takara works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Takara lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
No luck for Corleone with that takedown attempt.
Corleone is breathing heavily.
Corleone on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Takara comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Corleone stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Takara.
Takara throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Corleone on the side of the head.
Corleone takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Takara throws a leg kick which misses Corleone's front leg but catches the back leg as Corleone tries to avoid it.
Corleone's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Corleone takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Corleone takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Takara moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Corleone will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Takara swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Corleone.
A punch lands to the side of Corleone 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Takara bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
