Cooleridge has chosen MC Pee Pants - "I Want Candy" as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Washington looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Washington connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

It looks like Billiam Cooleridge has been cut.
Washington lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Washington misses with a wild combination.
Washington tests Cooleridge's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Nice sprawl there from Washington as Cooleridge shoots in.
Washington uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Cooleridge has time to react.
Darcus Washington seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cooleridge fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Washington bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Cooleridge's head.
Cooleridge fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Washington avoids it really well and circles away.
Darcus Washington has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billiam Cooleridge.
Washington throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Cooleridge on the side of the head.

Cooleridge is rocked!
Washington lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Cooleridge out cold! Cooleridge is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
