Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brewster Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trevor Condit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Condit has chosen RAWR as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

With a record of 8 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Trevor Condit!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Sam Margolis and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Condit displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Condit throws a series of punches but Burns moves out of range.
Condit fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Burns looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Condit gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Burns pulls guard successfully.
Condit trying to control the position from guard on top but Burns is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Burns avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Burns is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Condit trying to control but Burns is working from the bottom.

Trevor Condit has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Burns dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Burns misses with a body shot.
Burns tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Condit was well out of range. Poor timing from Burns.
Condit throws a big shot that misses.
Condit scores with a jab. Burns acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Condit looks to land a left hand but Burns moved out of range nicely.
Burns steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Condit.

and Condit counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Condit paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Condit lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Burns backs up against the cage.
Burns throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Condit throws a lazy right hand but Burns sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Burns ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Condit moves away.
Condit falls off balance throwing a combination
and Burns counters with a left to the body.

Burns misses with a shot to the body
and Condit makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Condit lands with a right hand.
Condit moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Condit swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Condit tries to bum rush Burns with a series of wild strikes but Burns uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

That was a close second round but I would say that Brewster Burns will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Burns has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
