Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Keast Durden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bod Zio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Durden's entrance music is Demon Hunter - Collapsing . A fine choice. Zio has chosen Old Mcdonald had a farm as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Zio lands an overhand right.
Zio scores with a shot to the body.
A slapping leg kick lands for Durden.
Durden stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Zio.
A thudding body kick lands there by Zio!
Zio lands a slapping body shot.
Zio lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Zio fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Durden throws a head kick but Zio moves out of range.
Durden tries to move into range but Zio moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

That kick from Zio tenderised Durden's leg. Durden is trying to keep his angry face on.

Bod Zio is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Durden gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Durden is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Zio lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Durden falls backwards - clearly groggy! Zio dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bod Zio!
Bod Zio is the new featherweight champion!
A relieved looking Bod Zio thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
