Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Osi Tuck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joel Abadi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 10 - 1, fighting out of New York, Osi Tuck!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joel Abadi!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abadi misses with a body shot.
Tuck blocks a jab.
Abadi tries to clinch but Tuck is having none of it.
Tuck closes this distance looking for a takedown but Abadi circles away.

Tuck changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Abadi looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Abadi tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Tuck wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Tuck misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
You can see the frustration on Abadi's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Tuck with the ground and pound but Abadi regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
Abadi is looking to improve his position.
Tuck trying to control from half guard but Abadi is working away.

Tuck sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Abadi defending well though.
Abadi trying to control but Tuck postures up.
Tuck thows a huge punch but Abadi dodges it nicely.

Tuck is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Abadi defends it well.
Tuck takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Tuck thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Abadi is not content to let Tuck control the position.
Abadi wants to control but Tuck is keeping busy.

Tuck is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tuck trying to control the action but Abadi is working from the bottom.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Tuck lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Tuck is working for a kimura but Abadi is defending it quite comfortably.
Abadi wants to get back to full guard.

Abadi is staying active underneath Tuck, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Abadi tries to get to full guard but Tuck has control of the leg.

Tuck is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Tuck has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Tuck is looking to take a break and control but Abadi is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Tuck looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Abadi manages to get to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Tuck swings for the body but Abadi moves out of range.
Abadi chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Tuck showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Abadi.
Tuck misses with a body shot.
Sloppy strikes from Abadi. Those never looked like landing.
Abadi drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Tuck will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Tuck lands with an uppercut that bounces Abadi off the cage and back into range.
Abadi fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Tuck is out of range.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Abadi lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Tuck has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Tuck and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Tuck missing with a left hand there. Abadi was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Tuck misses with the combination.
Abadi lands with a cross.


It looks like Osi Tuck has been cut.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Tuck avoids a punch combination nicely.
Tuck looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Abadi is fending him off so far but Tuck persists. Nope, Abadi circles away and we're back to standing.
Tuck moves out of range as Abadi throws a body kick.
A solid leg kick lands there for Abadi.
Tuck throws a right and a left that Abadi avoids nicely.
A slapping leg kick lands for Abadi.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Osi Tuck. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Abadi tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tuck swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Tuck takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Abadi pulls out of a head kick attempt.
No joy there for Abadi, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Abadi fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Tuck checks it well.
Abadi turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Abadi looks for a takedown but Tuck sprawls well.
Joel Abadi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tuck avoids a kick to the body.
Abadi tried to score with a low kick but Tuck checks it.
Abadi throws a hook but Tuck blocks it.
Abadi scores with a jab. Tuck acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Abadi misses with a low kick.
Tuck throws a right and a left that both miss.
Tuck throws a nice looking combination but Abadi bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Abadi slips under a jab from Tuck.

Abadi closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Abadi. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Tuck has clasped his hands together around Abadi's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Tuck looking to control but instead Abadi has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.

Tuck looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Osi Tuck overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Tuck wants to pass to mount but Abadi is defending the position.

Tuck might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Tuck throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Abadi works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Joel Abadi showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Tuck shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Abadi but Abadi pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Tuck connects with a body shot that sends Abadi's belly button to the back.

and Tuck decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Abadi's guard.

Tuck drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Abadi dives on top into guard.

Abadi won't allow Tuck to get back to his feet.

Tuck is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Abadi is controlling him.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Abadi looking to sit in guard and control but Tuck gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Abadi keeping moving, preventing Tuck from controlling successfully.

Abadi has his foot on Tuck's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tuck works his way back into a safe position though.

Abadi working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tuck doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Abadi is tightening it up a little... Tuck has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Tuck reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Tuck taps out! Nice BJJ there by Abadi!
