Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, evert hernandes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jack Reaper!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
hernandes lands a two punch combo.
Reaper bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
hernandes swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
hernandes fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
hernandes tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
hernandes misses with a series of wild punches.
Reaper swats away the attempt to clinch by hernandes.
hernandes throws a right and a left that both miss.

Reaper drives through with a takedown into guard.
Reaper postures up.
Reaper looking to sit in guard and control but hernandes gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Reaper is pulling down on hernandes's head. It's preventing any offense from hernandes, at least for the moment.

Let's hope that Reaper has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
hernandes knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Reaper on the ground.

Reaper had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. hernandes is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Reaper Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take hernandes's back instead.
hernandes tries to escape but Reaper has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Reaper is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Reaper gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Reaper gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Reaper apologises and we restart here on the feet.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
hernandes tries to clinch but Reaper is having none of it.

Reaper jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but hernandes manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

hernandes shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than hernandes was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

hernandes is looking for a kimura but Reaper is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for hernandes to get the leverage.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to evert hernandes.
I think Reaper has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
