The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Materovic tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Damsbury closes the distance and pushes Materovic back into the cage.

Materovic's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Materovic closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Damsbury to the mat! Damsbury manages to get full guard.

Damsbury might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
