Parka's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, . Shurlt has chosen Guns N' Roses - Welcome to the Jungle as his entrance music. Piru Parka has the better chin. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Piru Parka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Odayr Shurlt!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Alexandre Firmino and Mauricio Rocha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shurlt looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Parka misses with a body punch
and Shurlt counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Shurlt tries to score a power double leg takedown but Parka sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Shurlt somewhat.
Parka scores with a hook to the body. Shurlt takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Shurlt.
Piru Parka has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Odayr Shurlt.
Horrible takedown by Shurlt or perhaps it was just good defense by Parka which made him look bad.
Piru Parka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shurlt gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Parka counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looks like Odayr Shurlt has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Shurlt shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Parka pinned against the cage. Parka gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Parka throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Shurlt checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Shurlt closes the distance and clinches up with Parka, looking for a takedown. Shurlt pushes Parka against the cage but Parka circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Parka dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Shurlt. That did some damage!
Shurlt looks gassed!
Parka goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Parka connects with a jab.

That has opened up Odayr Shurlt's cut even more.
Parka looks to land a body kick but Shurlt moved away.
Shurlt doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Shurlt is trying desperately to land a takedown but Parka is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Shurlt.
Nice shot lands for Parka.
Parka lands a nice looking kick to the body. Shurlt takes a step back to recover.

Parka cracks Shurlt with an uppercut from hell and Shurlt crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Parka's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

The cut above Odayr Shurlt's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Parka working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Parka drops back looking for a leg! Shurlt is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Shurlt manages to kick Parka off! Parka jumps back into Shurlt's guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Parka tries to free his leg and advance position but Shurlt is retaining full guard.
Parka controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Parka in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Shurlt avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Parka pushing down on Shurlt's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Parka sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Shurlt defending well though.
The fighters are battling for position here. Shurlt manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Shurlt had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Parka defends it easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Parka is looking to advance position but Shurlt has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Shurlt goes for an armbar but Parka turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Parka.

Parka postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Shurlt is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Parka, into his guard.

Parka working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Shurlt doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Shurlt manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Shurlt stands up over Parka, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Parka looking for a guillotine here but Shurlt defends easily.

Shurlt stands and steps away. Parka gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Parka jabs Shurlt to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Shurlt looks for a takedown but Parka sprawls well.
Parka throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Shurlt stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Shurlt avoids the head kick by Parka.
Shurlt tries for a takedown but Parka sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Shurlt fails to land the takedown.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Piru Parka dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Odayr Shurlt's cut.
That's time! Parka's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Parka fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Parka lands with a kick to the ribs.
Parka is looking to wear down Shurlt with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Shurlt takes a kick to the side of the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Parka pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Parka throws a good cross that connects.

Odayr Shurlt's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Odayr Shurlt's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Piru Parka!
During a confident post fight interview, Piru Parka thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
