Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nefertum Imhotep (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lobsta Mang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mang has chosen They Try Ta Boil Me as his entrance music. Lobsta Mang has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mang shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Imhotep as he avoids it easily.
Mang circles away from the clinch attempt.

Mang drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Imhotep wants to stand up but Mang is controlling him.
Imhotep will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Mang stands up and waves to Imhotep to follow him.
Imhotep doesn't manage to clinch there - Mang circles away.

Mang closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Imhotep quickly recovers to half guard.

Mang stands up and beckons Imhotep to join him on the feet.
Imhotep dives in and grabs Mang's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mang pushes down on Imhotep's head and hops out.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Imhotep shoots in looking for a takedown but Mang manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Imhotep's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Nefertum Imhotep is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Mang feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Mang must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
