Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Danny Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daigo Asai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Santos comes to the cage accompanied by Killing in the name of. Danny Santos had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 157.9lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Asai showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Santos.
Santos looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Asai plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Danny Santos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Asai throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Asai throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Santos's head.

Asai keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Oh Santos is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Asai thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Santos if he has to take too many more of those.

The fighters circle, before Asai throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Santos's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Asai lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
