The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Draper shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Holmes as he jumps to the side.
Holmes misses with a looping right.

Holmes is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Draper is refusing to be controlled, as Holmes sits in half guard.

Holmes takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Holmes avoids the attempt from Draper to control.
Holmes lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Holmes lands a big shot there that rocks Draper but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
