Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Russo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Datu I (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by LmFaO. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Datu I !
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Atkins and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick lands from Russo.
Russo tries to close the distance and clinch but I swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Russo thows a body shot but no joy.
I misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from I . Russo does a little dance to reset his feet.
I will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Russo darts in and clinches I up against the cage.
I jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Russo walks away with a smile on his face. I gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

I shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Russo pinned against the cage. Russo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
