Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Bill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Edison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John Bill!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Peter Edison!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shirou Masuda and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edison throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bill throws a head kick that Edison semi-blocks.

It looks like Peter Edison has been cut.
Bill really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Edison shoots for a takedown but Bill saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That kick from Bill tenderised Edison's leg. Edison is trying to keep his angry face on.
Good leg kick by Bill there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Bill goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Edison takes the fight into the clinch.

Bill breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bill pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Edison throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Edison misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Edison is trying hard to land a takedown here. Bill sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
John Bill has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Peter Edison.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Edison tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bill swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Edison throws a head kick that misses.
Bill misses with a hook.
Bill tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Edison manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
No joy there for Bill, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bill moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Edison looks gassed!

Bill has taken the fight to the clinch.

Bill breaks from the clinch.
Bill fakes the leg kick and cracks Edison in the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Edison shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bill pinned against the cage. Bill gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Bill lands with a kick to the temple. Edison shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

That has opened up Peter Edison's cut even more.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bill lets loose with a powerful body kick. Edison will feel that in the morning.
John Bill is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Bill keeps Edison at a distance using the push kick.
Bill throws a nice head kick!

The cut above Peter Edison's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Edison takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Bill lands a big head kick that sends Edison tumbling to the mat! Bill takes a step backwards and waves Edison back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Edison is rocked!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Peter Edison's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
