Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tyr Garmr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Romano S (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Garmr comes to the cage accompanied by Facial Book by Audiotist. Romano S is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

With a record of 13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Romano S!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Paulsen Ambrosius and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
S tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Garmr paws at him with a jab and circles away.
S wants to clinch up but Garmr keeps it at a distance.

Romano S seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

S moves into the clinch successfully.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. S obliges.

Garmr has S pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Garmr pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending S tumbling to the mat - Garmr dives into S's guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and Garmr counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

S got a little sloppy there for a moment and Garmr has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, S has managed to get both his arms back between Garmr's legs - danger averted.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Garmr is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That was a close round but I would say that Tyr Garmr will probably get the nod.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
S won't allow Garmr to sweep him here.
S would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Garmr has his foot on S's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. S works his way back into a safe position though.
Garmr manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. S manages to get himself to full guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if S can do anything to dispel that myth.

Garmr is sneakily working for an arm triangle but S sees it coming and defends easily.

That's time! Garmr's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Garmr misses with a takedown attempt - S sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

S rushes Garmr and presses him up against the cage.
S tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Garmr avoids it.
S has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
S stalling the fight.

Garmr tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. S just stands there and leans against the cage.
Garmr has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

A nice right hand lands inside from S.
Garmr drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
S lands on the inside with an uppercut.
With the fighters up against the cage, S throws an elbow but misses.
Garmr is looking for a takedown.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Romano S comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Garmr has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
