The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Houdini.
Gerous misses with a takedown attempt - Houdini sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Gerous's jab looks to have found its range, popping Houdini under the eye.
Houdini shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gerous as he avoids it easily.
Houdini bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Gerous cracks a nice hook into Houdini's ribs.
Houdini is looking to score with low kicks.
Gerous avoids the head kick by Houdini.
Houdini walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Gerous works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

It looks like Harry Houdini has been cut.
Gerous misses with a series of wild punches.
Houdini moves away from the strike by Gerous.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A left and a right from Gerous both land. Nice combination.
Houdini gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Houdini fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Houdini shoots in and gets a takedown into Gerous's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Houdini avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Houdini is sitting in close to Gerous's body. Gerous has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Houdini is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Houdini is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Gerous.
