Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rocky Marciano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tabachoy Paneda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Donald Grub and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marciano throws a series of punches but Paneda moves out of range.
Paneda shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Marciano really is a fat lump.
Marciano tries to get to full guard but Paneda has control of the leg.

Paneda drops back, looking for a kneebar! Marciano looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Marciano looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Marciano!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Paneda can do anything to dispel that myth.
Marciano is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Paneda knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Marciano is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Paneda has escaped the position, nice work there.
Paneda is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Paneda closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Marciano is pressed up against the cage. Paneda has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Marciano down to the mat. Marciano avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Paneda pushes Marciano up against the cage in a clinch.
Paneda tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Marciano smiles and moves away.

Rocky Marciano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Paneda counters with a single leg into guard. Marciano didn't expect that.

Marciano gets caught napping as Paneda dives in and scores a takedown. Marciano manages to retain guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Paneda is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Paneda drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Paneda seems to have locked his on tight now - Marciano screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Paneda, as he picks up the win!
