Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hiki Komero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arjun Chankya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Komero kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Teach me how daugie. Chankya has chosen Punjab Nachda as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chankya tries to clinch but Komero is having none of it.

Komero swats away the attempt to clinch by Chankya.
Komero avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Chankya wants to clinch up but Komero keeps it at a distance.

Chankya has taken the fight to the clinch.
Komero blocks an uppercut.

Komero tries to stall but Chankya uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Come on Chankya - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Chankya tries a body shot but Komero blocks it.

Chankya lands a right hand that snaps the head of Komero backwards.
Oh Komero is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Chankya is pushing Komero up against the ropes, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Chankya dips a shoulder and cracks Komero with a mighty uppercut! Komero falls back against the ropes and Chankya unloads with a barrage of strikes! Komero is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the ropes! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Chankya screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
