Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jon Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Evan Stout (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jon Taylor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Evan Stout!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Alec Ball and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stout rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Taylor moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Stout pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Taylor shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Stout pinned against the ropes. Stout gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Stout closes the distance and clinches.
Taylor on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Stout trying to land knees to the body.
Stout managing to block the knees to the body from Taylor.

Taylor can't find room to land a body shot as Stout controls the action.

Taylor on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Taylor tries to get out of the position.

Stout is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Taylor manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
