Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mac Danzig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Jo Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jo Diaz has chosen beast mode as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jo Diaz lands a slapping body shot.
Jo Diaz misses with a takedown attempt - Danzig sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Danzig closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Jo Diaz quickly recovers to half guard.
Danzig is looking for a kimura but Jo Diaz is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Danzig to get the leverage.

Jo Diaz rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Danzig moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Danzig bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Danzig wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jo Diaz, who protects the arm well.
