Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Andersen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Noodle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jimmy Noodle!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Andersen gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Noodle avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Noodle won't allow Andersen to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Noodle seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Andersen wants to get back to his feet.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Noodle is thwarting Andersen's attempts to control the position.

Andersen is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Andersen makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Jimmy Noodle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Andersen changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Noodle looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Andersen gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Noodle tries for a takedown but Andersen circles away easily
and Andersen counters with a good, hard body kick but Noodle shrugs it off.
A head kick misses from Andersen.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Noodle.
Noodle scores with a push kick.

Noodle has closed the distance and engaged Andersen in a clinch.
Andersen fails to pull guard.
Noodle prevents a takedown attempt there.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michael Andersen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Noodle is pressed up against the cage. Andersen has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Noodle down to the mat. Noodle avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Andersen wants to break the clinch but can't.

Noodle has Andersen up against the cage in a clinch.
Noodle is stalling here.

Noodle breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Andersen throws out a loose jab but Noodle uses good head movement to avoid it.

Noodle fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Andersen, pushing him back against the cage.

Noodle gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Andersen not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jimmy Noodle showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Noodle is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Andersen throws a sloppy head kick and Noodle moves out of range easily.
Andersen thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Noodle if he has to take too many more of those.

and Andersen counters with a nice double leg into guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Noodle is trying to control the position but Andersen postures up.

Noodle manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Andersen manages to get himself to full guard.
Andersen wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Noodle manages to pass to side control.

I would just about give that final round to Jimmy Noodle.
Well Noodle has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
