The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sparbot throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Dunham counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Dunham is looking to land body kicks.
Dunham throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
A nice inside leg kick there by Dunham. That's going to slow Sparbot down.
Sparbot throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Sparbot throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Dunham feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Sparbot's calf.

Dunham gets the takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sparbot is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Dunham has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Dunham wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sparbot keeps working.

Dunham tries to escape but Sparbot has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Dunham is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Sparbot gets his way!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dunham accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

That was a close round but I would say that Pete Dunham will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Sparbot throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Dunham tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sparbot sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dunham somewhat.

Sparbot uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Dunham.
Sparbot ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dunham moves away.
Sparbot goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

It looks like Pete Dunham has been cut.
Dunham slips a straight right by Sparbot.
Boing Sparbot seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Dunham uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Sparbot.
Dunham fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Sparbot has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Dunham throws a series of punches but Sparbot avoids them all with ease.

Dunham misses with a body shot.
Sparbot tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dunham was well out of range. Poor timing from Sparbot.
Dunham tries to clinch up
and Sparbot connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Sparbot jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Dunham tries a head kick but it misses.
Sparbot misses with a body punch
and Dunham counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Sparbot is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Dunham throws a nice outside leg kick.
Sparbot scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Sparbot comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Sparbot tries to keep at a distance but Dunham has taken the fight into the clinch.

Sparbot digs a right hand into Dunham's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Dunham's gas tank.

Sparbot lands with a right to the head.
Sparbot gets underhooks to prevent Dunham's takedown attempt.
Sparbot lands a left hand that snaps the head of Dunham backwards.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Oh Dunham is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Sparbot escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Sparbot lands with a right and another and another! Dunham is in big trouble! Sparbot lands again and this time it's lights out for Dunham! A quality knockout there for Sparbot.
