The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rock tries a head kick but it misses.
Pavicevic misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rock motions for Pavicevic to come forward. Rock throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Rock forces Pavicevic back against the cage and clinches.
Rock blocking some punches.
Pavicevic has a couple of punches blocked by Rock.
Rock blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Pavicevic is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Pavicevic is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Rock to keep the fight standing.

Pavicevic tries to work over Rock's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Tommy Rock has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leko Pavicevic.
Rock creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Pavicevic's defenses.

Pavicevic swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Rock is now in Pavicevic's guard. A big mistake from Pavicevic there, giving up the dominant position!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pavicevic manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Pavicevic is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Rock has managed to escape the submission attempt.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Pavicevic is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Rock has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Rock!

Rock stands and steps away. Pavicevic gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Rock rushes Pavicevic and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Rock tries to land knees in the clinch but Pavicevic avoids the damage to the body.

Pavicevic has picked Rock up - he's going for a ride! Pavicevic dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Rock is trying to stand up here but Pavicevic is controlling him well.

Pavicevic is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Rock is just riding it out for now. Pavicevic eventually gives up the hold.
Pavicevic is looking to advance position but Rock won't allow it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

A close round but Leko Pavicevic will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Rock is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Pavicevic can't fight it off and eventually Rock manages to take the fight to the floor. Pavicevic looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pavicevic wants to control the position but Rock says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

Rock seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Pavicevic wants to control the pace but Rock is squirming around nicely.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close second round but I would say that Tommy Rock will probably get the nod.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
