The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alrogy fails with the takedown.
Alrogy misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Alrogy clinches.

Alrogy decides to pull guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Alrogy looking for a sweep. Not yet Alrogy, not yet.
Alrogy doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Makunouchi looking to pass the guard.
Makunouchi trying to control but Alrogy is working from the bottom.
Alrogy is pulling down on Makunouchi's head. It's preventing any offense from Makunouchi, at least for the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Makunouchi wants to control from the top but Alrogy keeps moving.

A slapping body kick lands there for Alrogy.

Alrogy closes the distance and clinches.
Makunouchi keeps control of Alrogy as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Alrogy jumps guard and drags Makunouchi to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Alrogy throws his legs up looking for a submission but Makunouchi uses it to pass to side control.

Makunouchi is trying to get an arm triangle but Alrogy is defending well.

Makunouchi wants to lay and pray for a moment but Alrogy keeps working.
Alrogy manages to get back to half guard.
Alrogy blocking the ground and pound attempt from Makunouchi.

Makunouchi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Alrogy swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
