Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Piper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Craig Thomson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thomson has chosen If I cant as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

9 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Peter Piper!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Craig Thomson!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Matti Vanhoillinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Piper has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Thomson lands an overhand right.
Piper takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Craig Thomson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Thomson with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Thomson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Thomson checks the leg kick nicely there.
Thomson misses with a body shot.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Thomson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Piper gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Thomson feints a jab promting Piper to slip. Thomson then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Piper slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Thomson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Piper looks for a takedown but Thomson sprawls well.
Thomson scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Piper shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Thomson smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Piper shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Thomson sprawls well. Thomson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Piper gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Peter Piper. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A punch lands to the side of Piper 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Left hook, right uppercut from Thomson.
It looks like Peter Piper has been cut.
Piper tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Thomson connects with the punch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Piper looks to land a body kick but Thomson moved away.
Piper seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Thomson shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Piper is backing up but Thomson catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Piper covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Thomson Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Craig Thomson!
