Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Josef Manuel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Jonas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Josef Manuel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jon Jonas!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Luis Engracia and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jonas connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Manuel momentarily.
Jonas throws a right hand that Manuel ducks under and follows up with a left that Manuel also avoids with ease.
Manuel cracks Jonas with a good jab.
Jonas lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Jonas slips under a jab from Manuel.
Manuel throws a hook to the side of Jonas's head but Jonas sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Jonas takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
No joy there for Manuel, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Sloppy strikes from Manuel. Those never looked like landing.
Manuel tests Jonas's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Manuel misses with a few strikes there.
Manuel takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Manuel misses with a wild combination.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jonas swings for the body but Manuel moves out of range.
Manuel swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jonas lands a leg kick that knocks Manuel off balance momentarily.
A slow jab from Jonas misses its intended target.
Manuel misses with a body shot
and Jonas counters with a nice body shot.
Jonas throws a shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A jab lands there for Manuel.
Jonas scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Jonas jabs Manuel right on the nose. Manuel blinks but takes it well.
Manuel throws the left hand but Jonas avoids the punch easily.
Jonas shoots in and gets a takedown into Manuel's guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Manuel utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Manuel is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Jonas has his hands clasped together but Manuel extends an breaks Jonas's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Manuel.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Josef Manuel!
