Thompson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Straub.
Thompson throws a lazy right hand but Straub sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

The referee asks Straub politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Straub prefers to stall for the moment though.

Thompson tries to land a front kick but Straub steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Thompson walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Straub checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Thompson gets caught napping as Straub dives in and scores a takedown. Thompson manages to retain guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Straub is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Let's hope that Straub has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Well Straub has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
