Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Paul McCann!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Sammy Sugarol!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCann swings for the body but Sugarol moves out of range.
McCann lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
McCann looks to throw the jab but Sugarol is out of range.
Donk. McCann catches Sugarol right on the button with a cross.
Nice defenses there by McCann.
McCann tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sugarol paws at him with a jab and circles away.
McCann keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Sugarol.
McCann plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
McCann throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

and Sugarol counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

and McCann makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
McCann throws a leg kick but Sugarol checks it.
McCann misses with a body punch
and Sugarol counters with a one-two to the body.
Paul McCann seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McCann uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Sugarol.
Sugarol misses with an uppercut. McCann saw that one coming.
McCann throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Sugarol looks to land a left hand but McCann moved out of range nicely.

Sugarol lands with an overhand left.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from McCann.
McCann connects with a body shot.

McCann connects with a leg kick. Sugarol looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
McCann throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
McCann moves away from the strike by Sugarol.
McCann throws a low kick but it's checked well by Sugarol.
McCann throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Sugarol misses with an uppercut. McCann saw that one coming.
Sugarol ducks under a wild hook from McCann.

McCann is looking to clinch but Sugarol is avoiding it.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
McCann pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A lazy left from McCann finds it's target.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
McCann moves to clinch but Sugarol breaks away
and Sugarol counters with a left hand that sends McCann to the canvas!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sammy Sugarol dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Sugarol fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McCann manages to avoid it.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by McCann.

and Sugarol counters with a lovely shot to the body.

McCann pulls out of a head kick attempt.
McCann tries to land a front kick but Sugarol steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Sugarol throws the left hand but McCann avoids the punch easily.

McCann throws a sloppy head kick and Sugarol moves out of range easily.
McCann wants to slow Sugarol down by chopping away at his legs.
Sugarol misses with a hook. McCann ducked under it nicely.
McCann staying out of range there.
McCann has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from McCann there as he acknowledges the shot.
Sugarol blocks a leg kick.

A nice combination there by Sugarol.
Oh McCann is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
McCann fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Sugarol checks it well.

McCann seems to have got his legs back now.
Sugarol scores with a nice head shot.
Sugarol might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

McCann throws a low kick but Sugarol moves out of range easily.

McCann fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Sugarol looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
McCann throws a sloppy head kick and Sugarol moves out of range easily.
McCann throws a head kick that Sugarol semi-blocks.
Sugarol tests McCann's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Sugarol is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops McCann like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving McCann from another fist facial!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:53 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sammy Sugarol!
