Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tom Kerr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Bunoyan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kerr might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Scotland The Brave [Instrumental]. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as George Bunoyan enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Kerr as Bunoyan shoots in.
Kerr slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

It looks like George Bunoyan has been cut.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Bunoyan tries to free his leg and advance position but Kerr is retaining full guard.

Kerr is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Kerr takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Bunoyan is trying to pull guard but Kerr turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Tom Kerr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of George Bunoyan.
Kerr lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

That has opened up George Bunoyan's cut even more.
Come on Kerr - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Kerr tightens his grip and picks Bunoyan up, before dumping him to the ground. Bunoyan manages to land in guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kerr accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Kerr seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Kerr is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Kerr sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bunoyan's guard.

Bunoyan is trying desperately to improve position.
Kerr has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kerr fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

George Bunoyan's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at George Bunoyan's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Tom Kerr decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
