The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Terkyan with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Medeiros to score with a decent uppercut.
Medeiros swinging wildly here.
Terkyan tries for a takedown but Medeiros sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Terkyan circles away from the clinch attempt

and Terkyan counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Medeiros!

Terkyan has control of Medeiros's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Medeiros regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Terkyan has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Medeiros defend it? Terkyan steps over the head and cranks it - Medeiros is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Terkyan!
