Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mathew Corson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dean Broughton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dean Broughton will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Broughton will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Broughton shoots in but no luck this time.
Corson shoots in for a double leg but Broughton sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Broughton throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Corson's waist but Corson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Broughton off to one side.

Broughton looks for the body kick but Corson saw that one coming.
Broughton pivots, looking for a leg kick but Corson is out of range and Broughton settles back down.
Corson shoots in looking for a takedown. Broughton tries to sprawl out of it but Corson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Broughton manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Corson closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Broughton quickly recovers to half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Corson sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Broughton taps out!
