Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daijiro Kato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tatsumi Fujinami (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kato comes to the cage accompanied by Flyover. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kato throws a head kick but Fujinami moves out of range.
Kato misses with a jab, cross combination.
Kato fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Fujinami shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Fujinami showed some decent athleticism there.

Let's hope that Fujinami has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kato moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Fujinami showing good wrestling skills to control the position.

Fujinami should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Kato thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Despite being in the dominant position, Tatsumi Fujinami just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Kato misses with a two punch combination.
Kato throws a sloppy head kick and Fujinami moves out of range easily.

Fujinami uses his free foot to push down on Kato's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Kato.
