The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rocha moves in looking to clinch but Soplamocos pushes him off.
Soplamocos finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Rocha throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Soplamocos counters with a nice low kick that buckles Rocha's knee momentarily.
Soplamocos fails with an attempt to clinch.
Rocha throws an off balance right hand

and Soplamocos counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Rocha!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Rocha takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Soplamocos postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Rocha out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Soplamocos goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
