Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Damian Maya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack McLumberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maya comes to the cage accompanied by Spitfire. McLumberg has chosen AC/DC - Thunderstruck as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Jack McLumberg has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Damian Maya's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maya fails with the takedown
and McLumberg counters with a nice body kick.
McLumberg closes the distance but Maya moves to the side

and Maya counters with a takedown into side control.
McLumberg is looking to reverse the position.
McLumberg takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
McLumberg is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Maya's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McLumberg makes his way to full guard. A much better position for McLumberg.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
McLumberg can't keep his opponent in guard - Maya advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
McLumberg wants to get back to his feet.

Maya tries to pass the half guard into mount. McLumberg knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
McLumberg is looking to improve his position.
McLumberg keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Maya is thwarting McLumberg's attempts to control the position.
McLumberg is looking for a sweep. Maya is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
McLumberg is trying to stand back up but Maya is controlling him

McLumberg is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Maya pulls his head out easily.
McLumberg tries to kick Maya off but Maya keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Maya thows a huge punch but McLumberg dodges it nicely.
Maya uses his free foot to push down on McLumberg's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for McLumberg.

McLumberg tries to improve his position but Maya has taken his back! Maya has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will McLumberg tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Maya pushes McLumberg away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!

After winning the bout, Damian Maya thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
