Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Ozzie Castillo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Marcelo Stanly!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Ackerman and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stanly is looking to clinch but Castillo is avoiding it.
Castillo throws a hook but Stanly blocks it.
Castillo checks a leg kick.

Stanly closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Stanly thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Stanly sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Castillo defending well though.
Castillo tries to roll over but Stanly keeps him under control.
Castillo avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Stanly.

Stanly is looking to pass Castillo's guard but actually Castillo recovers to full guard.
Castillo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Stanly on the ground.

Stanly throwing shots but Castillo is blocking nicely.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Stanly connects with a nice short shot to Castillo's temple.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Stanly looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Stanly is looking for a kimura but Castillo is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Stanly to get the leverage.
Stanly content to control rather than advance.

Stanly lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Stanly scoring with strikes to the body and head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Stanly shoots for a takedown but Castillo saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Stanly throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Castillo looks to land a combination but Stanly avoids it well.
Marcelo Stanly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Stanly pushes Castillo up against the cage in a clinch.

Stanly decides to pull guard.

Stanly is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Castillo defends well.

Stanly looking for a triangle here. Castillo is fighting it but it looks tight! Stanly pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Castillo is tapping out - this one is all over!
