Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Micah Mclovin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benny Urquidez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Micah Mclovin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Benny Urquidez!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Wagner Zegers and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mclovin pivots, looking for a leg kick but Urquidez is out of range and Mclovin settles back down.

Urquidez fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mclovin, pushing him back against the cage.
Urquidez is looking to break free of the clinch but Mclovin has double underhooks.

Mclovin jumps guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Mclovin will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Mclovin pushes Urquidez off and gets back to his feet.

and Mclovin connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Mclovin fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Urquidez avoids it really well and circles away.
Mclovin shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Urquidez as he jumps to the side.
Horrible takedown by Mclovin or perhaps it was just good defense by Urquidez which made him look bad.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Urquidez throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Mclovin.

Urquidez is fighting to break Mclovin's control of his arms but Mclovin is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Mclovin working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Urquidez doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Urquidez manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

That was a close second round but I would say that Micah Mclovin will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!
