The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Walker. Those never looked like landing.
Walker comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Walker has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Dengel.
Dengel throws a low kick, looking for Walker's leg but Walker calmly moves out of range.
Walker looks to land a left hand but Dengel moved out of range nicely.

Dengel is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Walker is trying to drag Dengel to the mat but Dengel just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Walker stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Dengel is pressed up against the cage. Walker has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Dengel down to the mat. Dengel avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Johnnie Walker. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Walker closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Walker lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Walker postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Dengel bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Walker and the fight is over!
