Kamahawe Ole has chosen E ala E by Israel "IZ" Kamahawiwo'ole as his entrance music. Jack Daniel has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, JJ Kamahawe Ole!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniel gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Kamahawe Ole counters with a straight right hand.
Daniel moves in looking to clinch but Kamahawe Ole pushes him off.
Daniel has his takedown stuffed
and Kamahawe Ole counters with a straight right hand.
Daniel shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Kamahawe Ole counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Daniel. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Kamahawe Ole counters with a left and a right that stings Daniel.

Daniel cracks Kamahawe Ole with an open hand slap.

Kamahawe Ole rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Daniel moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Kamahawe Ole lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Daniel circles away quickly and effectively.

Daniel moves to clinch but Kamahawe Ole breaks away

and Kamahawe Ole counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Daniel had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kamahawe Ole defends it easily.

Kamahawe Ole got a little sloppy there for a moment and Daniel has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kamahawe Ole has managed to get both his arms back between Daniel's legs - danger averted.
This has been an exciting period of action!

and Kamahawe Ole counters with a nice uppercut.
Kamahawe Ole thuds his right hand into Daniel's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
No joy there for Kamahawe Ole, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Daniel gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Kamahawe Ole counters with a two punch combo.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

and Kamahawe Ole holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Daniel jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kamahawe Ole walks away with a smile on his face. Daniel gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Daniel avoids a punch combination nicely.
Daniel misses with a takedown
and Kamahawe Ole counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Daniel. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kamahawe Ole throws a series of punches but Daniel avoids them all with ease.
Kamahawe Ole throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Daniel.

Daniel doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Kamahawe Ole counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Kamahawe Ole tries to bum rush Daniel with a series of wild strikes but Daniel uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Sloppy strikes from Kamahawe Ole. Those never looked like landing.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Daniel. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Kamahawe Ole takes the fight into the clinch.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Daniel is trying to pull guard but Kamahawe Ole turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Daniel misses with a short punch on the inside.

Daniel wants a takedown but no success here.
Daniel tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Kamahawe Ole just stands there and leans against the cage.

Kamahawe Ole breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
JJ Kamahawe Ole seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Kamahawe Ole will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Daniel misses with a takedown attempt
and Kamahawe Ole counters with a thumping low kick.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kamahawe Ole misses with a few strikes there.
Daniel slips a jab and a cross from Kamahawe Ole.
Kamahawe Ole connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Daniel throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Kamahawe Ole cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Kamahawe Ole decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Kamahawe Ole has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Daniel defend it? Kamahawe Ole steps over the head and cranks it - Daniel is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Kamahawe Ole!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). JJ Kamahawe Ole!
After the fight, JJ Kamahawe Ole was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
