Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Keith Keystone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Konstantin Tszyu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tszyu has chosen System of a Down - Toxicity as his entrance music. Keith Keystone has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Keith Keystone!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Konstantin Tszyu!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Eliza Hachem and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tszyu pushes Keystone up against the cage in a clinch.

Tszyu pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Keystone throws a head kick that Tszyu semi-blocks.
A low kick from Keystone misses
and Tszyu counters with a left and a right that stings Keystone.

Tszyu pushes Keystone up against the cage in a clinch.
Tszyu wants a takedown.
A head punch on the inside from Keystone fails to land.
Tszyu stalling in the clinch but Keystone improves position.
Tszyu fails to pull guard.
A short uppercut from Keystone.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Tszyu prevents a body shot from Keystone.
Tszyu tries to circle away but Keystone has him pinned against the cage.
Keystone lands an uppercut.
Tszyu lands a nice uppercut.

Tszyu pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Keystone jabs Tszyu right on the nose. Tszyu blinks but takes it well.

Keystone gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Tszyu manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Keystone gets underhooks to prevent Tszyu's takedown attempt.
Keith Keystone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Konstantin Tszyu.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Tszyu.
Keystone misses with a hook to the ribs.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Tszyu.

Tszyu jumps guard and drags Keystone to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Tszyu looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Keystone trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Keystone throws a strike but Tszyu rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Keystone is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Tszyu trying to control but Keystone is working from the bottom.
Keystone tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Keystone is working hard here to advance position.
Tszyu pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Keystone is keeping the position for now.
Tszyu wants to stand but Keystone is controlling his posture from full guard.
Tszyu sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Keystone trying to keep a closed guard but Tszyu is proving a slippery customer.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Keystone is defended easily by Tszyu.
Keystone gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Tszyu will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Tszyu has closed the distance and engaged Keystone in a clinch.
Keystone misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Tszyu.
Tszyu is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Keystone is struggling to control the position.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Keystone creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Tszyu looking to slow down the pace here.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Tszyu lands a left hand that snaps the head of Keystone backwards.
Keystone avoiding damage.
Keystone lands a body punch in the clinch.
Tszyu has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Keystone keeps control of Tszyu as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Keystone has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Tszyu after a bit of a struggle.
Tszyu dodges an elbow strike from Keystone.
Tszyu has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Keystone avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Keystone lands a takedown into guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Tszyu is trying to control the position from the bottom.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Tszyu looking to hit a scissor sweep but Keystone is one step ahead there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Keystone throws a strike but Tszyu rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Konstantin Tszyu will probably get the nod.
That's time! Keystone's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Tszyu is looking to clinch but Keystone is avoiding it.
Keystone throws an off balance right hand
and Tszyu counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Keystone thinking.
Keystone dives in and grabs Tszyu's left leg, looking for a takedown. Tszyu pushes down on Keystone's head and hops out.
A nice combination there by Keystone.
Keystone uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Tszyu.

Keystone bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Keystone has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Tszyu tries to bench press Keystone off him but Keystone keeps the position.
Keystone fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Keystone creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Tszyu sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Tszyu wants to control but Keystone postures up.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Tszyu is looking to reverse the position.

Keystone tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Tszyu struggling a bit here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Keystone trying to control the action but Tszyu is working from the bottom.
Keystone throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Tszyu defending against the ground and pound.
Tszyu is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Keystone off and has taken his back!
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Tszyu's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
You can see the frustration on Keystone's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Tszyu punches the canvas rather than the man.
Keystone rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

Tszyu sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Keystone defending well though.
Keith Keystone overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Tszyu is controlling the pace.
Keystone is looking to improve his position.
Keystone controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.
Keystone gets full guard.
Tszyu controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Keystone working a defensive guard but Tszyu manages to pass into side control anyway.
Tszyu throws a strike aimed at the side of Keystone's head but Keystone avoids it well.
Tszyu wants to control but Keystone is keeping him busy.
An elbow from Tszyu crashes against the mat.
Keystone is looking for a sweep.
Keystone is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Tszyu wants to stand up but Keystone has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Tszyu is pressing down on Keystone's thigh, looking to free his foot. Keystone is holding on for now.
Keystone manages to get to full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Keystone controls Tszyu momentarily but Tszyu frees himself.
Keystone keeping full guard, as Tszyu tries to pass.
Keystone keeping moving, preventing Tszyu from controlling successfully.
Tszyu stays in close to Keystone's body and controls the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Keystone bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Tszyu's guard.
Tszyu avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Keith Keystone dominated that second round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Keystone connects with a jab.
Keystone throws a right and a left that both miss.
Keystone lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Keystone.


Tszyu is rocked!
Tszyu checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Tszyu is still on wobbly legs! Can Keystone finish him?

Keystone is looking for a takedown. Wow, that's a brutal slam - Tszyu is in big trouble! Keystone is landing strikes from the mount and this one is all over! The ref jumps in to save a confused looking Tszyu. Poor guy.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:19 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). Keith Keystone!
