The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left and a right from Davidson both land. Nice combination.
It looks like Lars Andersson has been cut.
Andersson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Davidson circles away.
A jab-cross combination lands for Davidson and sends Andersson crashing to the mat! Davidson follows him down to the mat - Andersson regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
This has been an exciting period of action!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Davidson is thwarting Andersson's attempts to control the position.
